VideoDrive Support

1. Why does VideoDrive quit unexpectedly immediately after launch?
An issue in recent versions of VideoDrive may cause VideoDrive to quit unexpectedly at startup. The application may quit without any notification. This issue may arise on some systems with Mac OS X Tiger on both PPC and Intel platforms. To futher analyze and address this issue, please contact support by email and report your current Mac OS X version, platform (PPC or Intel) and iTunes version. In the mean time, we advice to install version 1.6.2.
2. Every video I import results in a error on Tiger. What is going wrong?
The import of incompatible videos fails with the following error: "Import of ***.avi failed because QuickTime could not process your video. Make sure the video can be played in QuickTime and try again:QuickTime Player got an error: Can't continue . (error: -10000)". This issue only occurs on localized versions of Tiger and has been fixed in VideoDrive version 1.6.
3. Why can I not import Matroeska (MKV) files using the Media Link import method?
This is caused by iTunes not being able to handle MKV files properly as these videos will be loaded in memory first. Import MKV files using one of the four other import methods.
4. When I import the first video of a video title consisting of multiple parts, VideoDrive merges all other parts too. Why?
If you only want to import the first video, and not the others, disable the option “Virtually merge video parts of the same title” in the VideoDrive Preferences (Import tab). This behaviour also occurs when dragging the first video to the VideoDrive application icon, or when the first video of the title is added to a hot folder.
5. I cannot download individual TV Show episodes metadata in version 1.6.1 or higher.
If a video has been identified as a “Movie”, and you manually set the video kind to “TV Show” in the online results window, VideoDrive will not download individual episode metadata, because season and episode numbering is missing. This feature will be added in a next version. Currently, individual episode metadata will only be downloaded if the videos has been identified automatically as a “TV Show” (see metadata FAQ)
6. I am having issues with VideoDrive. What else can I do?
