Keep Original Titles Check this option if you wish to keep the original titles of movies and TV shows. Otherwise titles will be saved in English or the language of your country.

Search for average user rating Include an average user rating as 1 to 5 stars to each title in iTunes.

Map online genres to a main iTunes genre Movie and TV Show genres found online can be differently named than iTunes genres. Enable this option to only use iTunes genres thus avoiding a multitude of genres such as Adventure, Adventure & action, Action movie, ... in your library.

Open online metadata in the default browser Show metadata found online in your browser. The metadata will be opened in a new browser window. If you import multiple videos at once, only one new window will be opened. If another browser than the default browser is running, that browser will be used instead. If no browser is running, no metadata will be opened in the browser.

Match metadata presets When using Automatic Metadata, VideoDrive will compare the name of the video file (movie name or TV show name) with the list of existing metadata presets. If the name are the same, the preset will be loaded. This is particularly if you want to add episodes of the same TV show over time while assigning customized artwork. An indicator next to this option will show how many presets you have created. (In version 2.7 this option has been moved to the Settings tab of the Metadata Editor)

Clean up file and folder names If your file and folder names contain other info than purely the title of the video, you should leave this option enabled to improve the automatic identification of your videos. This option will automatically clean out any unwanted fragments.

Identify movies by folder name instead of file name Only use this option if you store all your movies in separate, correctly named subfolders.

Mark videos as Unwatched / watched Unwatched videos are indicated in iTunes and all related devices by a blue dot.

Mark videos as Checked / Unchecked Videos can checked or unchecked for playback in iTunes.
