1. Why do I get an error everytime I am trying to download artwork?
The online Amazon store has made several changes causing errors in VideoDrive when trying to download artwork. This issue has been addressed in version 2.0.01.
2. In some cases, VideoDrive misidentifies my video. What can I do?
Sometimes VideoDrive will not identify a video correctly. This is especially the case when the file name of the video is polluted with unwanted text fragments, when there are multiple sequels to a movie, or when several movies and/or TV shows have similar names. When this happens, click “Search Again” in the online results window, or browse to the correct IMDb page and click the “Copy Metadata” button. Additionally, you may send us your video file names, so we can improve our online search algorithms. We will also add additional metadata sources to future updates of VideoDrive.
3. Why can I not import Matroeska (MKV) files using Import method 1?
This is caused by iTunes not being able to handle MKV files properly as these videos will be loaded in memory first. Import MKV files using one of the other import methods.
4. VideoDrive is listed in Activity Monitor as not responding. Is there a problem?
No, because VideoDrive delegates tasks to QuickTime and iTunes, it may appear unresponsive, especially when videos are reconverted. You should wait until the process finishes.
5. Is VideoDrive compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) ?
Yes, version 2.x is fully compatible.
